Due to major building work all Stay & Play sessions at St Pancras Community Association will take place outside during the summer.

There will be no sessions on Monday 3rd July due to preparations, and the outdoor sessions will commence on Friday 7th July

Our Stay & Play sessions at St Pancras Community Association will take place in the outdoor area during the summer and we will not have any access to the building.

The learning through play activities we provide will be of the same high standard and we will also have to opportunity to provide more outdoor focused activities.

Below is information about the things we have put in place to ensure sessions will be safe and fun.

Entrance to Sessions

The entrance to the session will remain via the side gate, though it might take a bit longer to open the gate, so please be patient.

 

Toilets

Portable toilets with hand washing facilities will be available.

 

Baby changing facilities

Baby changing facilities with hand washing facilities will be available.

 

Hot Weather

There will be plenty of shaded areas for children and families to play and learn together under.

Please ensure you and your child have a sun hat and you have applied sunscreen before you arrive at a session.

Rain and Wet Weather

‘There’s no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothing’

Playing outside in all weathers provides children with lots of valuable play and learning experiences.

Please bring your wet weather gear if it looks like rain, we will also provide wet weather gear in case you forget yours.

 

Water

Fresh drinking water will be available from a water cooler, please bring a water bottle.

 

Extreme Weather

In the event of extreme weather we will make a decision as soon as possible if we feel we have to cancel the session.

We will post a message on our website home page if we cancel sessions www.camdensp.org.uk

 

Risk Assessments

Our Risk Assessments are available for you to read, copies are available at the sessions and they are also available on the website.

Children remain parents and carers responsibility at all times whilst in the stay and play session.
